Impact
In the 2023-2024 academic year, the College of Graduate Studies admissions team processed:
13,729 applications,
extended 8,173 offers of admission,
and welcomed
4,993
new students into our graduate community
an 8.5% percent increase over the previous year.
Beyond these numbers, the admissions team provided exceptional support throughout the admissions process. They handled initial residency classification and residency reclassification for in-state tuition, evaluated international transcripts, and ensured compliance with Florida Statute 1010.35 (required screening for all students applying for research positions or research-related support positions), all while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
By leveraging advanced tools, the team streamlined application reviews and maintained clear, consistent communication with prospective students. Through their dedicated efforts, the College of Graduate Studies ensured that all admitted applicants met UCF’s rigorous academic and institutional requirements, reinforcing the integrity of the admissions process and upholding university standards.
