The College of Graduate Studies is dedicated to supporting graduate education by providing the resources and services needed for student success and program excellence. We monitor national and peer-institution trends, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and offer guidance that upholds the academic integrity of our graduate programs.

Welcomed 4,154 new students into our graduate community
The admissions team delivered exceptional support throughout the admissions process this past year, managing residency classification for in-state tuition, evaluating international transcripts, and ensuring compliance with Florida Statute 1010.35 for research-related positions, all while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
By leveraging Slate, the team streamlined application reviews and communication with prospective students, supported graduate programs in recruitment efforts, and ensured every admitted student met UCF’s rigorous academic standards, reinforcing the integrity of our admissions process.

Recruitment
The college is committed to cultivating a vibrant graduate student community that reflects the ingenuity of our region and supports the growth of dynamic learning environments in our graduate programs. Working closely with graduate programs across the university, the College of Graduate Studies has successfully facilitated several key initiatives:








- Hosted the annual Grad Fair, attracting 812 prospective students who attended the event, and met with faculty and staff from over 90 UCF graduate programs.
- Hosted a Virtual Grad Fair in Spring 2025 with 69 participating programs/offices. The events included 976 prospective student attendees.
- Organized 480 virtual and in-person events for prospective students, allowing graduate programs to connect with over 4,815 individuals.
- Conducted monthly campus tours for 116 prospective graduate students.
- Hosted 42 Graduate Admissions Information Sessions that garnered a total of 1,698 registrations.
- Participated in 9 off-campus recruitment events, receiving prospective student information from 166 individuals.
- Received 34,116 graduate program inquiries through our Online Request for Information Form from August 1, 2024, to August 1, 2025.
As a result of these efforts, CGS and its program partners connected with 8,583 prospective applicants interested in pursuing graduate study at UCF.
Our admissions efforts reflect a shared commitment to attracting and supporting talented graduate students who will shape the future of their fields and communities.
