The Communications team is pivotal in advancing college initiatives at UCF by undertaking a multifaceted approach to communication and outreach. Their responsibilities include the development of new publications and materials to bolster college initiatives, the creation of materials for annual events, and the active promotion of these events. They contribute to project and initiative success by developing graphics, renderings, and design. Additionally, the team writes and publishes faculty and student profiles, crafting press releases about college initiatives or events. The team produces videos for special projects and works with other colleges to promote graduate studies services and campaigns. The impact of their efforts resonates in fostering effective communication channels, not only directly with students but also in raising awareness within the college and the broader community. By showcasing student successes and highlighting program resources, the team contributes to building UCF’s local and national reputation as a thriving graduate community, emphasizing the pivotal role communication plays in student success.
