Atheletic Training

The Recreation and Wellness Center, in partnership with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, offers free athletic training services to students. BOC-certified athletic trainers provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and short-term rehabilitation, helping students return safely to play or learn. Referrals are made to physicians if additional care is needed.

Biofeedback Relaxation Training Program

The Program is a free, six-session program that teaches students relaxation techniques using body sensors to monitor stress responses. Students learn diaphragmatic breathing, muscle relaxation, and guided imagery to replace stress with positive, automatic responses, helping manage anxiety, headaches, muscle pain, and other stress-related conditions.

CARD provides free services to children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in the Orlando metropolitan area. They offer individualized support, consultation, training for families and professionals, and public education. Services are designed to build on local resources and promote full participation, dignity, and respect for individuals with autism and related disabilities.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers free, culturally and trauma-informed mental health support to all enrolled students. Services include initial assessments, brief individual counseling, group therapy, workshops, crisis intervention, and daily walk-in support. CAPS provides a welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds and identities to promote well-being and academic success.

Collegiate Recovery Community

College can be challenging, especially for students in recovery. Recovery, treatment, and prevention programs support mental health and reduce substance abuse. Students can access support groups, mental health professionals, peer connections, and advocacy. These resources foster belonging, accountability, and academic success, helping students maintain a sober lifestyle while thriving personally and academically.

Community Counseling and Research Center

The Community Counseling and Research Center (CCRC) at UCF’s College of Community Innovation and Education is a state-of-the-art training facility offering free individual, couple, and family counseling. Advanced graduate students provide services under faculty supervision.

CPR/AED and First Aid

The Recreation and Wellness Center offers American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED certification for a fee. Classes are taught by certified RWC staff and are available to UCF students, faculty, staff, and the community.

Dining Services

UCF Dining Services has you covered with an array of convenient dining options. Whether you’re picking up a quick snack or sitting down to a well-balanced meal, and whether you live on campus or commute to class, we have a dining membership that’s right for you.

Fitness Assessments

Certified Personal Trainers provide a complete fitness assessment to measure your current level and offer personalized recommendations. Assessments are available at the RWC Main Campus and Downtown.

Free Condoms

Wellness and Health Promotion Services offers free condoms at our office and in restrooms in select locations on campus: RWC (Main and Knights Plaza Locker rooms), first floor of Student Union, All Knight Study, Multicultural Academic and Support Services, Pride Commons, and Student Health Services.

Get Tested

Getting tested regularly is a key step in protecting your health. If you have a doctor, talk openly about testing options. If not, visit a local clinic that provides confidential, free, or low-cost testing. Search for a location near you to stay on top of your health.

Graduate Wellness Course: Plan for Well-Being

A free course offering you some common stressors that graduate students face. Students can work through the modules on their own. This course includes a digital workbook that can be used to create an individualized plan for well-being catered to your personal needs.

Green Dot Bystander Intervention

A bystander intervention program that empowers students to prevent power-based personal violence. Through proactive and reactive actions, Green Dot promotes a culture of safety and signals that violence is not tolerated in the UCF community.

Group Exercise

Group exercise classes at the Recreation and Wellness Center offer you a range of healthy lifestyle opportunities led by nationally certified student instructors. Online scheduling makes it easy to sign up for a favorite class or a new experience, or walk-ins are welcome too.

HIV Testing and Counseling

Wellness and Health Promotion Services offers Free HIV Rapid Testing five days a week with an appointment and during special Rapid Testing events.

Knights Pantry

The Knights Helping Knights Pantry serves UCF students by providing basic needs, including food, clothing, and personal hygiene items, to foster continued academic success and increase retention for students in need.

Let’s Be Clear

Support, resources, and reporting options for sex discrimination, harassment, violence, stalking, or exploitation. Knights stand together to end sex-based violence.

Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Results (MIEA)

Returning Spring 2026! MIEA offers four 90-minute sessions teaching mindfulness and meditation techniques to improve well-being, focus, and stress relief. Free for UCF students. Classes are offered several times each semester.

Personal Training

Personal Training services are available at RWC Main Campus and Downtown. Certified trainers create custom programs tailored to your fitness goals and health needs. They can help you set goals, learn new exercises, build strength, endurance, and flexibility, provide functional training, and support a healthy lifestyle.

Quit Smoking

Smoke-Free UCF offers programs and prescriptions to assist students and faculty members in breaking the habit. Six-week classes led by Quit Smoking Now facilitators, who are available for groups and individuals. Classes are free and include nicotine replacement therapies, such as gum, lozenges, and patches.

Student Accessibility Services

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) views disabilities as an important part of the University of Central Florida community. We recognize that accessibility needs are evolving as classrooms and campus experiences increasingly incorporate online and technological components. SAS is available to discuss any course or campus barriers that may limit access to education or an equitable campus experience for students.

Student Health Services

UCF Health Student Health Services averages 6,000 monthly patient visits. Funded in part by the student health fee, they provide affordable, high-quality healthcare to the UCF community.

Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) Self-Help

TAO Self Help is an interactive, web-based program that provides assistance to help overcome anxiety, depression, and other concerns. TAO is based on well-researched and highly effective strategies.  You can choose to view short but helpful videos, participate in brief exercises, use logs to track moods and progress, and access a Mindfulness Library.

Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) Treatment

Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) is an up to 8-week, interactive, online therapy program that assists with anxiety, depression, and other concerns. TAO is based on well-researched and highly effective strategies for helping students in these areas. Throughout treatment, clients will watch videos and complete exercises individually for up to 2 hours per week, and then meet with a therapist via video conferencing for a 10-15-minute appointment.

Togetherall

Togetherall is an anonymous peer-to-peer platform for mental health.  You need a UCF email to register, and you will have access to millions of people around the world 24/7 and 365 days a year to explore. 

Wellness and Health Promotions

Students can stay healthy and build habits linked to academic success. Services include free HIV testing and counseling, biofeedback relaxation training, wellness coaching, cooking classes, and educational workshops on nutrition, stress management, sleep, relationships, safe sex, and body image. Students can also visit Health Huts, mobile wellness stations around campus offering health information, activities, and free resources like water bottles, sleep masks, and condoms.
