Unleash Opportunities with a UCF Graduate Degree
A graduate degree has the power to unleash opportunities by expanding careers, opening doors to new fields, and increasing lifetime earnings. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (2024), individuals with a graduate degree earn an average annual salary of $95,680, compared to $80,236 for those with a bachelor’s degree and $48,360 for high school graduates. At UCF, our graduate programs help turn that potential into reality by supporting students as they grow their expertise, pursue their passions, and gain experiences that shape their future.
Join the College of Graduate Studies for the annual UCF Grad Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Student Union’s Pegasus Ballroom. This open house-style event is your chance to explore graduate programs, meet faculty and staff, connect with current and prospective students, and learn about the many university offices and services dedicated to graduate success. Attendees can ask program-specific questions and discover resources that support every aspect of graduate education.
With more than 200 degree and certificate programs, many ranked among the best in the nation, UCF’s 9,000+ graduate students are advancing their careers or launching new ones. They thrive both on campus and online, equipped with the skills and experience to excel after graduation.
U.S. News & World Report recognized UCF’s outstanding graduate programs in its 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings, including the nation’s No. 1 emergency management program. Five additional programs rank in the top 25, and nine others—including engineering, public affairs, education, and health—place in the top 50 nationally.
“Graduate education at UCF is about more than earning a degree. It is about creating opportunities, building connections, and preparing students to excel in their chosen fields,” says John Weishampel, interim dean of the College of Graduate Studies. “With nationally recognized programs, dedicated faculty, and strong community and industry partnerships, we provide graduate students with the resources and experiences they need to succeed.”
Beyond academics, Grad Fair highlights the full graduate student experience. Representatives from non-academic departments such as Career Services, the Writing Center, and the Recreation and Wellness Center will be available to share how they support student growth and well-being.
Prospective students are encouraged to register for the UCF Grad Fair and begin exploring the opportunities that await them. For details and a full list of participating programs and departments, visit the Grad Fair website.
