Question:

What is a Probation Plan?

Answer:

Students placed on probation are required to meet with their graduate program director to create a Probation Plan. This plan will state the maximum number of hours that the student can remain on probation and may include specific direction on courses to be taken and the timing of those courses. The plans are signed by the student and the graduate program director and submitted to the College of Graduate Studies for review and approval. Failure to meet any of the conditions of the Probation Plan may result in dismissal without any further appeal.
