Academic Integrity Training
All newly admitted UCF graduate students must complete training on ethics, academic integrity, and responsible research. Requirements are in the Graduate Catalog and tracked in myUCF.

College of Graduate Studies
The College of Graduate Studies supports graduate students and postdoctoral scholars through advanced education, research opportunities, and professional development. College of Arts and Humanities
The college offers UCF students opportunities to explore creativity and understand the role of culture in their studies and lives. With two schools, five departments, an interdisciplinary PhD program, over 120 degree programs, and multiple centers and institutes, it fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration and high-impact student experiences in the arts and humanities.
College of Business
The college prepares students to succeed in a dynamic, global business environment through innovative programs, experiential learning, and faculty expertise. College of Community Innovation and Education
The college prepares students to create positive change through nationally ranked programs, hands-on research, and public and private partnerships. Students can learn in person at UCF’s main or Downtown campuses or online, gaining access to internships, networks, and real-world experiences. Programs include criminal justice, education, global health, legal studies, and public administration, equipping students to achieve their goals.
College of Engineering and Computer Science
The college is a national leader in aerospace, mechanical, computer, and electrical engineering. It fosters innovation and entrepreneurship through cutting-edge research in areas like AI, robotics, hypersonics, and nanomaterials. College of Health Professions and Sciences

CREOL, The College of Optics and Photonics
The college focuses on optics, lasers, and photonics, combining the resources of a major research university with personalized attention. Students gain hands-on experience in a leading research hub, preparing them to excel in academia and industry. Faculty engage in cutting-edge research in areas like lasers, optical materials, imaging, and quantum technologies, driving innovation and advancing the field.
College of Medicine
The college combines innovation, high-tech learning, and a pioneering spirit to educate future doctors and scientists. It includes the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, offering large undergraduate and graduate programs, and provides joint degrees such as MD/PhD, MD/MBA, and MD/MS in hospitality.
College of Nursing

Computer Availability @ UCF Libraries
UCF students and employees have free access to over 100 computers across the Downtown, Main Campus, and Curriculum Materials Center locations to carry out university-related work. Guest access is available at these locations for non-UCF patrons, who must provide contact information and a photo ID to receive a temporary username and password.
Course Materials, Open Education, and Textbook Affordability
UCF Libraries provide materials and resources that support student success while helping reduce costs. Services include Leganto for seamless course resource access, Open Education for freely available and adaptable materials, and Course Reserves for shared access to required resources.
Digital Accessibility
UCF provides resources and guidance to ensure digital content is accessible to all, including tools, training, and ways to report accessibility barriers.

Diplomas
Master’s, specialist, and doctoral graduates receive both paper and digital diplomas. Certificates are issued digitally. Credentials are distributed through Parchment, UCF’s official vendor. You’ll receive an email (and text if on file) from congratulations@mail.parchment.com about 6–10 weeks after the term ends to claim your credential. PhD students receive their electronic diplomas one hour before Commencement.
Downtown Campus
UCF Downtown is a 15-acre campus in Orlando’s Creative Village offering a modern, technology-rich learning environment. Its location near the Central Business District provides students with easy access to jobs, internships, and professional collaborations across a range of graduate programs in fields like business, health, public policy, and digital media.
Free Printing
Student Government (SG) offers free printing at the SG Computer Labs in the John C. Hitt Library, operated by the Student Union.
Graduate Admissions
Graduate Admissions manages all contact with prospective non-degree, certificate, master’s, professional doctorate, and PhD students. The team provides guidance on application requirements, supports international credential evaluations, determines residency status, and ensures accurate communication with UCF colleges and programs.

Graduate Orientation
This office invites all new graduate students to a campus-wide orientation. Sessions are tailored for master’s, doctoral, and UCF Online students, providing key information, networking opportunities, and campus resources to help you start your program successfully. Check with your program for any additional mandatory orientations.

Grant Seeking and Preparation Fundamentals Webcourse
A free, self-guided webcourse, developed by the Research Development Team in the UCF Office of Research, provides videos and resources on key topics and tools for grant seeking and preparation. Completing the course will help you confidently prepare your first grant proposal.
GTA Training Requirements
All graduate teaching associates and assistants must complete UCF’s GTA Training by the semester deadline. Non-native English speakers without a U.S. degree must meet the English Speaking Test requirement. Additionally, all student employees must complete the “Supporting Students in Distress” training through Workday, which covers mental health and suicide prevention.

Intensive English Program
UCF’s Intensive English Program helps students improve English proficiency and prepare for graduate study. The program serves students from over 33 countries and offers English for Specialized Purposes (ESPs), student events, and an IELTS/TOEFL waiver for degree-seeking students.
Intent to Graduate
IRB Support
The Office of Research and the College of Graduate Studies offer office hours with an IRB Ambassador to assist students in navigating the IRB application process. The Ambassador provides guidance on applying for approval, using the Huron IRB platform, and understanding review steps. Students should have a finalized proposal and study design reviewed by their advisor before scheduling.
John C. Hitt Library
The library offers study rooms, classrooms, the Infusion Café, and the Knowledge Commons featuring seating, computers, and collaborative workspaces. It also provides collections, research support, and technology resources for students.
LaTeX, Computational, and Cloud Computing Support
UCF IT experts offer personalized support for research computing, including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), high-performance computing (HPC), LaTeX, data pipelines, workflow optimization, software setup, and troubleshooting. Virtual sessions are available for LaTeX and HPC on Mondays, 11 am–12 pm, and Wednesdays, 2-3 pm, and for cloud computing on Tuesdays, 10 am – Noon, and Thursdays 3-4 pm. Join our office hours to get expert guidance and make the most of your research resources!
Library Support
UCF Libraries offer resources and services to support graduate students, including Academic Engagement Librarians assigned to each college or program. Librarians can help you find discipline‑specific resources, recommend databases, and suggest search strategies for assignments and research projects.

Your one-stop online resource for course enrollment, grades, financial aid, and academic records. Access at my.ucf.edu.
NID Password Reset
Your UCF NID (Network ID) is your secure username for accessing UCF systems, including myUCF, online courses, email, and the wireless network. It also forms part of your UCF email address. This is the place to go to reset your NID.
Registrar’s Office
The UCF Registrar’s Office manages and protects student records, issues transcripts and diplomas, and oversees registration, readmission, and residency reclassification. The office also maintains the academic calendar, exam schedule, and class schedule, and coordinates Commencement ceremonies.
Rosen College of Hospitality Management
Rosen College prepares students for careers in hospitality through innovative programs, research, and industry partnerships. The Mediterranean resort-style campus features high-tech classrooms, test kitchens, a training dining room, labs, and other facilities designed for hands-on learning in the heart of Orlando’s hospitality industry.
Tech Product Center

Transcripts
Official transcripts from UCF must be ordered online through the myUCF portal or via Parchment for students who do not remember their NID. Transcripts are non-refundable, and payment is required at the time of request ($15 for mailed or electronic transcripts, $10 for in-person pickup). Picked-up transcripts require a photo ID and must be claimed within 30 days.
Thesis and Dissertation Services
This office guides graduate students through the thesis and dissertation process, from forming the advisory committee to final review and submission. To support professional development, the office offers workshops, one-on-one formatting assistance, and partners with campus offices to provide research training that builds skills for future careers.

UCF Apps
UCF Apps allows students to access a variety of software applications remotely from any device through a virtual lab. Follow the setup instructions for your device, then log in with your NID account.
UCF Bookstore
The campus bookstore provides textbooks, course materials, technology, and school supplies to support students in their academic success. It also offers one-of-a-kind UCF apparel, merchandise, and convenience items to enhance the student experience.
UCF Card Services
The UCF Card is available to all students affiliated with the university. It includes a digital photo stored in the university system and covers a $10 annual fee included in tuition. Replacement cards cost $15. Card Services provides information on where and how to use your UCF Card and the benefits it offers.

The University Writing Center provides free peer support for graduate students at UCF, both online and in-person. Consultants help with reader feedback, discipline-specific questions, and guidance on thesis or dissertation projects. The UWC also hosts graduate writing groups, workshops, and offers a quiet space to work. Appointments and group participation are available to support your writing goals.
