So, why should you pursue a graduate degree? Find out some basics at the annual Grad Fair from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom at the Student Union on Monday, Oct. 9 to see whether it is right for you.

The College of Graduate Studies hosts the fair which gives students an opportunity to speak to representatives from nearly 200 UCF graduate programs. There are lots of options including master’s, doctoral, specialist and certificate programs.

Some facts to consider according to the U.S. Census:

  • 3 percent of the population 18 and older holds a master’s degree
  • 2 percent have earned a doctorate

Completing a graduate education is a noticeable way to stand out in the workforce and increase career opportunities.

More than 1,200 people attended the event last year.

The Grad Fair is an opportunity to talk one-on-one with faculty and staff representing programs that interest you. Graduate Admissions and Financials staff members will also be on hand to discuss the variety of admissions options that UCF offers, as well as information on the fellowships, assistantships, and financial aid that are available.

The fair is free and attendees can dress casually. Parking is available in any university lot or garage for $5.00.  For more information, visit Grad Fair or email [email protected]
