Intent to Graduate

Check to see if you’re eligible for graduation by reviewing your Graduate Plan of Study (GPS) on myUCF.

To receive your degree, you must file your Intent to Graduate (ITG).  Only students who submit their ITGs on time will be permitted to participate in that semester’s commencement ceremonies, so please pay careful attention to the deadlines.

SPRING 2025: File your Intent to Graduate before February 28, 2025

(loading…)

When you file your ITG, this alerts the university to check that you meet all graduation requirements, and, if so, to award your degree.  Filing your ITG “on time” (within the window of time posted above) is also required to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Students must file an ITG for each graduate program and each graduate certificate program they plan to earn in a given semester. Complete this step in myUCF. In addition to alerting us to your intent to graduate, you will also verify that your name and address are correct in your student record and complete an exit survey.

If you miss the deadline for filing your ITG, you may file a Late ITG to receive your degree that semester. Please meet with your Graduate Program Director or advisor for additional information. You may not participate in commencement that semester, but you may participate in a future commencement ceremony (up to 3 semesters following graduation).
